Forest Steven Whitaker is an American actor, producer and director, Whitaker has performed in over 47 movies, produced over 8 films, and directed 5 movies.

Acclaimed actor, director and producer Forest Whitaker has a list of credits a mile long. He received the Academy Award for playing Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in the acclaimed film The Last King of Scotland. Forest made his debut in the classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High in 1982, was nominated for a Golden Globe and won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in 1988s Bird and directed the hit films Waiting to Exhale and Hope Floats.

He has donated his time to both human rights, environmental and animal protection issues. He is also a vegetarian.
